Ah, this one takes me back. I feel like an oldie. 
This is excellent work as usual, and with the scale you work at, the painting couldn't have been easy. I think the paint job is a little messy, and the controller itself could be a little more rectangular.
I really like how you made the directional pad. I'm not sure why. It's just fun to look at.
Anyway, super-late comment because I'm lame and haven't been on DA.
